I was brought up and confirmed in the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod), but, due to the periodic relocation that was required by my job, I have also over the years been part of congregations from other Christian denominations.  My wife and I are approaching our 40th anniversary this fall, and have two married children (a son who is an attorney and a daughter who is a secondary-level math teacher), who each have a young daughter of their own.
