This is a very good thought to ponder. I can find no direct Scripture that definitively says what Jesus' glorified, resurrected body contained inside. As we well know the biological purpose of the blood in our bodies, and we know God said in Leviticus 17:11 and Deuteronomy 12:23 that life is in the blood. Physically we must possess blood.

The comment made that Jesus told Thomas to touch His hands and side to demonstrate He was real and didn't say anything about His blood is true.

There are several verses that explain what the shedding of Jesus' blood accomplished and we know no remission of sins could have come without the shedding of blood. Hebrews 9:19-22. Also in Hebrews 9:12 it says He entered once into the Holy Place, so is there a purpose for blood any longer once we have gloried bodies and are eternally spotless and saved in order to serve God.

Hebrews 9:23-28 goes on to explain that Jesus presented His blood in the Heavenly Holy Place to God as the eternal offering and no more is a blood sacrifice needed. Verse 28 says Jesus will come a second time and appear to those who eagerly await Him.

We as God's children are still in a dual existence flesh and born again spirit, Jesus is now the Glorified Son of God, fully God with all the assets He possessed before coming to earth the first time.

Scripture states, "I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable." - I Cor 15:50. Flesh and blood as is the case with those who have inherited sinful flesh under Adam and Eve cannot inherit the heavenly afterlife. After His resurrection Jesus said, “Touch me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” (Luke 24:39). You must note that Jesus did not say, “flesh and blood.” He said, “flesh and bones.” This is because Jesus’ blood was shed on the cross.

Jesus’ own words showed that he would not be resurrected with his flesh-and-blood body. He said that he would give his “flesh on behalf of the life of the world,” as a ransom for mankind. (John 6: 51; Matthew 20:28) If he had taken back his flesh when he was resurrected, he would have canceled that ransom sacrifice. This could not have happened, though, for the Bible says that he sacrificed his flesh and blood “once for all time".

Jesus' flesh and blood were both resurrected. The blood is part of the body. All of His organs were resurrected otherwise eating would have no meaning. Jesus would be a 'hollow' man. He ate in front of the disciples and at the marriage supper of the Lamb post-rapture he will drink and no doubt eat along with the Bride. He took His blood up to the Mercy Seat in heaven and sprinkled it. His blood speaks today and preserves the saved born again believers right up to the pretribulational rapture. Jesus is the complete Jewish glorified resurrected Messiah God-Man, Jehovah in the flesh... the Man Christ Jesus.

All of Jesus' resurrected body and blood is glorified forever. We will be 'like' him at the rapture, forever. The rapture imminent (any moment of any day) and when it takes place, we shall see Him as He is... the 2nd Person of the Trinity (Elohim), Jehovah in the flesh with Divine Blood, the Great I AM.
