I agree that the dispensational view is not taught in the Bible. Remember to let scripture interpret scripture. All the questions you have about revelation can be found in the Old Testament.
It's also important to have a good understanding of the first century climate. Remember the letter of revelation was written to the first century Christians revelation 1:11 and they understood every word which gave them hope in a dangerous time.
