The scroll carried the Word of God that was sent forth to reveal the judgment of God upon the thieves and the liars in the land. The curse that was sent forth into their houses would cause utter destruction. I believe there is a definite connection between these verses and Psalm 147:15. The Lord spoke to His people in various ways according to Hebrews 1:1
