Why do many Christians support President Trump despite his adulterous past, seemingly hateful comments, potentially criminal acts, and unwholesome talk?

Most Christians in the UK are appaled at Trump's antics, attitude, lack of diplomacy, manipulation of voters (especially Christians), not to mention his callous disregrad for the planet in an age of rapidly advancing climate change.

It does not help that the nation which is generally seen to be the leader of the western world (and de facto policeman of the world) is absoilving itself of so much responsibility.

His interfernce in the UK election process, by criticising a leader of the major opposition party, supporting Farage (who, incidentally is not standing as a candidate and is therefore ineleigible for office), critcising the EU deal (it's not good, but far better than no deal) and generally going against all diplomatic protocol is a disgrace!

I long for the US to come to it's senses and elect a decent human being (regardless of party affiliation).
