What does the Bible say about curses?

I live in California and I feel this whole state may be under a curse. Everything here is backwards, and people believe convoluted nonsense instead of the truth. It's like wool has been pulled over their eyes. Is there any Biblical basis for that feeling? Is there any way to break such a curse?

A timely question for our time and I humbly submit for your consideration that where the daily slaughter of the unborn is cheered or defended as a right and something good; this is the rotten fruit of an unchecked leftist ideologically calling out for judgement.
(Deuteronomy 28:15; Ezekiel 22:4; Ezekiel 23:39; Jeremiah 19:5)

State government indoctrination centers called schools and universities guide their eternal adolescent captives into a delusional and sentimental Marxism-Leninism with it's subjugation of soul, while separating creation from CREATOR.
(Deuteronomy 29:20; Ephesians 4:14; Colossians 2:8; 2 Thessalonians 2:12)

This depravity juggernaut did not happen overnight; it's had time to buildup steam as the people have been sleeping and now it's grown into a monster that will not obey.

The active threat is before our very eyes causing some to still call for proper polite decorum pieties while others forsake the lunacy of leftist states abandoning them and fleeing to some safety within other states. The problem is that traveling with you are the same Balaams who will vote to power the very ideology they are now fleeing.
(Numbers 5:23; Numbers 31:16; Deuteronomy 28:45; Deuteronomy 29:27)

Apart from a Biblical foundation and anchor one will be subject to the forces of the Babylonian world system and it's evil prince. (Hosea 5:4; Judges 17:6; Luke 12:4)

Bottom Line:
There is a not so quiet, but under reported revolution taking place within the state of confusion [California] this awaking is in direct response to their state ruling class.

Everyday citizens some with their children at their side, have chosen to stand and fight for their state against the dark domain. The prince and his minions will not go quietly from their treasured influential stronghold. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Consider this history seventy years ago on 14 May 1948 Israel declared itself a nation and the next day was attacked by five Arab nations with their superior armies, which Israel and their God beat. (Isaiah 46:10)

Stand and deliver the truth on all matters remembering if your doing it right the world should hate you as they did our Master. Warriors be of good courage on this asymmetrical battle field as our enemies play by no rules thus incivility is the first card played; trying to use our peaceful and compassionate nature against us.
(Deuteronomy 30:7; 1 Peter 5:5; 1 Timothy 6:5)

If Christians are unwilling or fail to defend principles, themselves or the innocent.
How will any lost souls or eternal adolescents realize any saving truth?
(1 Corinthians 16:13)

"The occupation of the good soldier of Christ is war" Charles Spurgeon

In the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 27-28), Moses specified actions that would cause those who practiced them to be cursed, and also spoke of what those curses would entail, as well as what the blessings of avoiding those actions would be.

In the New Testament (Romans 1:18-32 and 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12), Paul similarly addressed sinful actions and their negative consequences.

When a social or political system tolerates, actively endorses, or even engages in beliefs or behaviors that defy existing laws, or that run counter to God's principles, for a long enough period of time, God will eventually stop trying to intervene on their behalf or persuade them to return to Him, and will (as Paul said) "give them over" to the consequences of those beliefs and behaviors, as well as send them "a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false".

But God also always preserves a remnant (Romans 11:5) to offer hope, and is still able to bring good out of what seems to the direst possible circumstances. However, that hope is in Him and in the working of His people, rather than from any humanly-conceived beliefs or plans.
