Seeking God's heart

I was raised in a Christian home and attended both Christian and public schools.  Later I taught in both Christian and public schools.  In the fall of 2000 God began me on a long and specialized course of study under his direct tutelage, primarily in scripture and history, primarily independently, but occasionally with the assistance and guidance of others he has placed on similar quests for knowledge of God.  

This can be a difficult path to follow because it always means there will be differences, sometimes very large differences, between your understanding and that of the church at large.
