I was born in India, the first of 5 boys. We immigrated to Australia when I was 9 years old in 1948. I was brought up a Catholic, went to a catholic college, did a BSc (Adelaide University) and a PhD (Flinders University of South Australia). I married in 1964, had 3 daughters and 1 son who died early in life. My wife died in 1991 of cancer. Research in cancer, renal calculi, factors affecting immunity including psychological stress and other areas. My position was chief research medical scientist. Also lectured to grad and undegrad medical and science students. Had a lukewarm walk with the Lord and gave up going to church about 1975. My life became messy until God personally touched me dramatically in July 1977 and filled with his Holy Spirit. My life as a Christian really took of at this time. Finished a bible correspondence course in 1983. After my conversion I could be classified as a theistic evolutionist. However, since about 1995 have questioned the feasibility of evolution and starting asking questions like what part of the bible can we take seriously. By applying my scientific knowledge to test the veracity of the word of God came to the conclusion about 2005 that the bible is the absolute truth. I am proudly a creationist, believe that the world is 6,500 years old, Noah's worldwide flood 4,500 years ago, evolution is the greatest lie ever told and believe that the church is doing its believers a disservice by giving evolutionary/Darwinian findings a big tick. Basically if the foundational truths in Genesis are suspect then the whole redemption story is also suspect. That is the whole bible story falls apart without a strong, literal belief in the first few chapters of Genesis. I am currently attending an Anglican church in Adelaide run by a creationist priest but will shy away anything with a smattering of liberal theology. Am retired now but give talks on science and creation to churches who want me, help look after my 5 grandsons and 1 beautiful great granddaughter. For recreation I garden, study science and play golf which I love. I was written up in Creation magazine , vol35, No4, pages 16-18 (2013). In conclusion it must be emphasized that anything I have achieved in life has been by the grace of God who is Jesus Christ. Without his direction and guidance my life would have been one big mess.
