I believe that an "angel of light" masquerading as an angel also appeared to Joseph Smith of the Mormon church. This situation is similar to how an "angel" appeared to Eve and tricked her into eating the forbidden fruit.This "angel" Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith and revealed a new testament of God that would later become the book of Mormon and the other books in the Mormon faith. The devil is in disguise trying to appear as close to Christianity but the more you look into that false religion and try to compare it to the Word of God; you will see how Satan is behind this false religion.
