The bible is God’s word to us. That is why we can believe what it says. John 3:16-18.

For God so loved the world, us born in sin, that He gave HIs only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We were born into this world as sinners and had no way to do anything to save ourselves.

God sent His own son to die for the sins of the whole world, First John 2:2, so that any one could accept His free gift of eternal life and be saved.

It is the greatest story ever told. Jesus took the punishment we deserve so we would not have to go to hell to pay our sin debt.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have been born again by the Spirit of God and given eternal life. Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holly Spirit, in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

Jesus paid the debt and set us free when He said, "IT IS FINISHED." That is an accounting term meaning, PAID IN FULL. No longer condemned to hell. John 3:18.

Amen James. Simply put, the Holy Bible is God's love letter. It is our "how-to" book.
