Really who does that. I didn't even know what it was. Tri to look it up and saw the caption porn. People porn is porn. Glad I didn't open a site. Just another ploy of the enemy. God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light let's stay there and not go back into darkness with these loaded questions that sounds like they came straight up from the pit of hell

Oddly enough, I have met people that excuse looking at virtual images or cartoons as "not really lust", throwing/breaking inanimate objects as "not really anger", slaughtering innocent civilians in a video game as "not really violence", etc - as the target is not a 'real person'.

God, however, looks at the heart. Righteousness is like a target, sin is missing that target. Just because a sin doesn't have the same consequence as if it were against a person, doesn't make it righteous. Also, our hearts are still affected by such sins. We can begin to objectify other people, justify self, seek the adrenaline rush of violence, justify our own anger, etc.

Interesting thing: Our brains interpret images, even virtual ones, as "real" for all practical purposes. So, even if we know intellectually that something isn't 'real', our brain chemistry changes as if it was.
