There are so many religions in the world today because of a number of reasons among which are the following:
1) Culture so that people will create religions that are commensurate with their culture.
2) Modernity so that people create religions to match what they think matches with the so called modern times.
3) Differing interpretations of the Bible so that people will choose to understand the Bible the way that suits their thinking.
4) Some people will seek to create religions that allow them to practice certain things of their choice. Etc

Do all religions lead to God? NO, they don't. No religion has ever or will ever lead any one to God. According to the Holy Scriptures Colossians 2:8, James 1:26-27, Hebrews 13:8, religion can be; to give, to help, etc. Yet no one is led to God by simply giving or helping anybody. We are only led to God through Faith in Jesus the CHRIST, by accepting Him to take charge of our lives, fulfilling His redemptive plan of man. To give and help is okay, but with the blessing of accepting Jesus the CHRIST to take charge of our lives. Jesus is the cornerstone of all.

To put it more clearly, the Born Again Pentecostal Christians do not follow after religion, they follow after Jesus the CHRIST. So the question should be; can anyone lead you to heaven? Because even whatever religion it is, they are built around personalities.

As a Born Again Pentecostal Christian, I only follow after Jesus the CHRIST. Religion is a product of human beings; salvation is of God (Luke 19:9-10). The clarity here is that it is not about religion, it is about Jesus.

Many people glorify personalities for reasons best known to them; this is how they have ended up creating religion out of such allegiance. Yet such personalities have no evidence of having been from God and they have nothing to exhibit so that we should believe in them. They have made no promise of being able to lead any one to heaven. They have not made any cutthroat statements like the ones of Jesus upon which one can concretely build their Faith in God (John 8:23) (John 11:25-26). All they do is to calm down the fears of many so that since they are a group, if they are to suffer together, let it be, if they are to enjoy together, let it be.

If in the same spirit, it all emanates from the fact that we are not worshiping the same God/god. Otherwise, it can’t be the same true heavenly God who keeps on allowing us to create many religions through which we can be led to Him. These are creations of man. God in His omniscience knew that all such variations would be there, He started on a program to differentiate Himself in name (Exodus 6:2-3) and deed. He sent His Son Jesus the CHRIST so that such confusion would be dealt with. Jesus says; “I am the way, the truth, and the life, nobody comes to the Father except by me” (John 14:6). It is only through Jesus that sins are forgiven (John 8:24-25).

Jesus never mentioned any religion on His redemptive mission. He always mentioned Himself as the only one through which hope in God can be regained. Religion had existed before and had it been good enough, Jesus the CHRIST wouldn’t have come.

God is one, He extended His power in Jesus the CHRIST, and in the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us in all. Religions have set and predetermined rules and regulations by man, thinking God can be pleased through such. They never allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them. Salvation is God’s grace extended to us through God’s redemptive plan when His Son Jesus the CHRIST died on the cross at Calvary.

There is no life in religion; life is in Jesus the CHRIST. His promise to us is worthwhile. He was exemplary to us. Nothing Jesus is asking us to do that He never did Himself. Nothing happens to us that never happened to Him. Only Jesus has the love, the grace, the power, the will, the character to lead us to heaven. If it is all about religion, I would call that religion; the religion of JESUS THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

Christianity is not a religion. Christianity is faith in Jesus as Savior. Christianity is alone in leading to salvation by grace through faith. The reward for Christians is the Judgment Seat of Christ. The "reward" for non-Christians is the Great White Throne Judgment. Go for the Judgment Seat so that you will avoid the Great White Throne!
