Actually, religion is man's concept of God. This why there are so many religions in this world, and there are so many sects, denominations, etc... in the religion.

Anybody may say or confess his/her religion, although he/she has no faith in God at all, just for the purpose to be welcomed in a certain society or any other interest group (hypocrisy).

Jesus is saying: " You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other " (John 15: 16-17)

For the believers and followers of Jesus Christ, none of the religions will lead to God but Jesus Christ alone (John 14: 6-7).

The devil goes around like a roaring lion seeking whom may devour. And that is why there are so many religions. Christianity is not a religion.

Recently thinking on there being so many religions. This thought occurred to me: How many times throughout the Bible does it say that the people worshipped other gods? That would be other religions.

That being said, why does the Bible record it for us to know??? I think that this is definitely written for our learning, as scripture says!

Shouldn't the world, or at least believers wake up?

There is ONLY ONE FAITH, ONE TRUTH, ONE WAY...

If christianity isn't a religion, what is it? The word 'christianity' has a meaning; what's the meaning?

I agree with the comment that 'no religion, including christianity will lead a person to God.'

The words 'Christian' or 'christianity' were never spoken by Jesus while he was here preaching. Jesus preached against the practice of a religion; he has been mostly ignored.

He gave the disciples (us) a way of celebrating spiritual communion with him until he returns in person to gather his sheep. It soon became an ordinance. He said 'Do this in remembrance of me' (Like 22:19). I've read here on this site that 'he commanded us to take holy communion.' The same thing has been done with the practice of baptism.

These acts of celebration have gone beyond being celebratory rites and ceremonies and are seen by some as authoritative laws and decrees. They became religious practices. Neither will lead a person to God.

Adding to the confusion is the idea that we can just declare that "christianity is a relationship" with God, and simply repeating that expression will separate us from all the other religions. That's not how truth is established!

What communion does light have with darkness? (2 Cor 6:14).. None! A little leaven (untruth) leavens the whole lump.

No religion (set of beliefs) leads anyone to God.

Read the scriptures, pray, then pray some more, sing songs to God, praise his name (authority over your life), pray some more and listen for his "voice."
