Is there no formula for healing?

I would say that the "formula" referenced in the question related to Jesus (as God incarnate) having full knowledge of individuals' circumstances, needs, and thoughts, even if they had not actively sought Him out, or previously expressed their own faith in His power to heal. He would also have known of how the individuals had been affected by their situations; how they would react to being healed; the condition of their hearts (even without their openly expressing it) from an actual or potential standpoint of faith; and the effect that His actions and their reactions would have, both on His own ministry (such as bringing others to believe in Him), or even hastening the perfect timing of his divinely-ordained sacrifice on behalf of all humanity.
