Michael, thank you for this well thought out answer. God's thoughts are higher than ours and it may be that when He gave us The Word the position we relate to as Senior Pastor did not exist. That said - the Bible is the Living Word and it's principles and precepts can be applied from that day until The Day when Messiah comes again. I "feel" your thoughts and references are sound and provide excellent guidance and application for anyone who aspires to be a "Senior Pastor" in the "present age."
