Only going by how the Holy Spirit ministered in the OT..unlike when He came and dwelt in believers at the start of the church dispensation. In the OT He came upon certain people. It is more likely that because as believers in Christ Jesus we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, His role in this manner will be stopped when the church is raptured. However the Holy Spirit is not completely removed as He as with all the Godhead is omnipresent. So it is likely that He will once again work in the same way that He did in the OT OT (Old Testament)
My opinion is that the Holy Spirit will be taken with us at the time of the rapture. The reason I say this is that Paul says in 2Th 2:7 "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [will do so] until He is taken out of the way." If you read on, then the Antichrist will be revealed and so on. What seems to be holding these things back is the Holy Spirit. Imagine how difficult it will be on this Earth to become a child of God then. Ask your friends.
Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds so they did not blow on the earth or the sea, or even on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, 3 “Wait! Don’t harm the land or the sea or the trees until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants.” Rev 7:1-3 And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." Gen 6:3 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Eph 4:30 The Holy Spirit will be taken out of the world when He has done all that He can to save us and we resisted it or accepted it. If we accept salvation we will be sealed with the seal of the living God. If we deny it we will be locked out of the ark like the people of Noah's day was. The Holy Spirit pleaded with the people for 120 years to get into the ark. But they rejected His plea. The Holy Spirit left the people just before the flood and closed the door of the ark, closing salvation. So it will be in the last days. The Holy Spirit will not leave the world until all His work is done. And as the signs of the animals walking into the ark were (strange) to the people in Noah’s day, so are we seeing strange things. The end is near. Have you heeded the Holy Spirits plea?
1 corinthians 13:10 but o when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. scripture says that the gifts of spirit will cease at Christ's 2nd comming but ,until then Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. anti-christ cannot have any power on spirit god. But, humans will be hardened either to not know him at all or not listening to him
I see the Holy Spirit leaking or "leaching" out of this world. One drop at a time with each generation. The Anti-Chirst will be like a giant sponge sopping up the last drop during those days. I see effects of Anti-Christ consciousness already at work in the media and our church(s) as well. Perhaps (The) Anti-Christ is at the door already? On the other hand, I have witnessed a revival among different denominations and that gives me great joy as I have witnessed the Holy Spirit's effect on those brethren. So as to when…It is clearly up to God the Father. Matthew 24:36 "No one knows that day or hour."
The Holy Spirit will be taken out of the world when the times of tribulation comes:: "When your fear cometh as desolation, And your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; They shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of the LORD": (PROVERBS 1:27-29) "But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, And shall be quiet from fear of evil" (PROVERBS 1:33)
