The last day I asked it to a friend and we do not know to answer it. Thanks for reading it

How does acquiring the latest technological advances affect our lives spiritually? Psalms 25:5 speaks of “truth” and David’s desire for increased knowledge. The best source of truth is God’s word the Bible. This was expressed in a prayer by Jesus to God saying, “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” (John 17:17) Learning about God’s truth, the Bible, is a road to salvation for all who participate. Any technologies that serve to make God’s word more available to more people advances our lives spiritually. Today, such advances in communication such as cell phones has led to a remarkable increase in Biblical awareness. Churches use such features as Facebook to communicate timely information to their members. Advances in computer technology make Biblical research information more available as never before. Many say this is a fulfillment of a Biblical prophecy found at Daniel 12:4 where it says “in the time of the end” there will be great activity, which may include technological development, to “increase knowledge.” Webinar Bible studies are conducted over the internet. People in far away lands who might not have the Bible in printed form are able to access its truth through the internet. Technology has also produced many labor saving devises that give us more time to develop spiritually. However, for us to take advantage of such assets, we must learn how to use them. That can be said to be “acquiring the latest technological advances” to advance the message regarding God’s Kingdom worldwide. Much more can be said about the many ways technology has served to better equip us to utilize God’s word as a witness to truth that leads to salvation. So, in my opinion, that is how technological advances can affect our lives spiritually.
Relevant question, Oswald! I've noticed myself getting way too enamored with youtube videos especially and seeing way too much that I used to ignore. That's a temptation! And I know now that Satan wants to s-l-o-w-l-y drag us away from the Lord. So I give this warning: Technology can easily pull our attention toward social media, entertainment, or news, making it harder to spend time in prayer, meditation, or Scripture study. Psalm 25:4-5 (ESV) says, "Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day." These verses remind us that staying focused on God requires depending on Him rather than on the constant pull of technology. Spiritual growth often comes s-l-o-w-l-y, so patience and persistence are essential. Technology can tempt us to rely on tools like chat.gpt or google or human knowledge instead of trusting God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Our ultimate reliance must be on God, not devices or apps. Having said all this, I do agree and use it similarly along with Sharon as she made comment to Nils.
