We who are saved by grace have been given a double portion. Romans 4:6-8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputes righteousness without works. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
He made an exchange with us. He took our sin, and gave us His righteousness. Without the righteousness of God, no one could see the kingdom. We have the double portion. And He gives it to us as a free gift.
