What Is the double-grace we receive in Christ?
John 1:16 especially (ESV). In other words, What Is the meaning of 'grace upon grace'? John 1:16 says, “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in a place of grace already given.” In other words, grace upon grace.

❖ Greek: pleroma (G4138) is used to refer "fullness", "abundance", completeness. All needs and lawful wants are promised by the gospel (2Cor. 1:20; Mt. 7:7-11; 17:20; 21:22; Mk. 9:23; 11:22-24 Jn. 14:12-17; 15:7; Jn. 16; 16:23-26). ❖ I believe, it is about grace upon grace and to achieve full grace or FULLNESS in God according to needs and wants (Heb. 4:14-16; 10:19-38 Jas. 1:5-8). ❖ In verse 17, John says the law condemns moral life was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. This does not mean that there was no law before Moses, or no grace and truth before Jesus Christ. The law itself is truth, and the New Testament is law. There are 1,050 commands in the New Testament. The idea here is that the fullness of grace came by Jesus Christ. In my opinion, the idea being expressed by the phrase "grace upon grace" is not that of specific items standing in a line (in a manner of speaking) so that they can be enumerated, but of a never-ending supply that cannot be exhausted (as indicated by the earlier reference to God supplying that grace out of His fullness or abundance), and that will provide whatever grace the Christian requires (as well as whenever it is required) -- both for salvation, and then for dealing with any and all temporal challenges or trials that must be faced or overcome after salvation has been received.

John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand, And my Father who is greater than all, no one can pluck them out of His hand. Romans 5:20 Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound, but where sin abounded grace did much more abound. It is impossible to out sin grace. Grace covers us from all sin. If we could have been saved by works, then Jesus died in vain. Romans 11:6 All grace no works. Our works can not save sinners which we all are. Our sin debt is paid in full and we can no longer be condemned. John 3:19 Grace is Gods love for us sinners apart from merit. We all deserve to go to hell, but Jesus paid the debt and set us free. No longer under the old law of sin and death. Jesus told the woman at the well, one drink of my living water and you will never thirst again. Salvation by works never works. Salvation by grace is eternal life. Grace is a bottomless well springing up that covers us from all sin. There is no end to Gods grace. Grace is apart from works. You can not mix law/works with grace. Oil and water. If you add one work to grace it is no more grace but all works. Romans 4:5
