Believe it or not, theologians, astronomers, and science fiction fans and writers have contemplated this question long and hard. The debates have narrowed down where the problems would arise, but t...

In regards to alien life, why do we have concern or worry? Seems to me to be a distraction to what we really should be looking for. It may a form of Idolatry.
Deuteronomy 4: "And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven. "

Let's assume that there are "visitors" from "somewhere else". The logical conclusion or question would be, "Why do "they" continue their cat and mouse game? It would seem that an intelligent species would want to communicate with another species. Compare it to our own exploration and desire to find life on the planets in our own solar system. NASA and the radio signal system installations have endeavored to make our existence known and have been looking for any "answers" to our "phone" calls. It is sad to say that we have had not one iota of evidence of aliens caring to pick up the phone. Is it that we are so egotistical that any other alien life would be interested in our planet?
I believe that the true nature of the ongoing fervor, distraction, devotion and pre-occupation with UFO's, Aliens and the theories that we were planted here from outer space goes against Biblical teaching, never mind the lack of logic and lack of any scientific evidence.
A quote from a teacher I studied with many years ago comes to mind here:
"Mans audacity is that he pre-supposes the limit of his potential is the limit of all possibility." It seems that man is saying "if I can't believe God created us, then it MUST be aliens." Are we all doubting Thomas's? Are we losing faith? Are we wasting our time and compassion for being the good shepherds that we are commanded to be for our brethren and our planet because of a pre-occupation with something or someone that does not care to communicate or has shown no evidence of actually existing?
If I have to add one more opinion it is, "What a waste of time and energy." Let's concern ourselves about how we are invading our own planet with pollution, terrorism, spiritual warfare, poverty, hunger, disease, etc.
As Christians, let us equally concern ourselves with our conduct and continuing knowledge through the Holy Spirit.

I believe the most important word in this question is the first one - IF
I live my life listening to what the world throws at me to dismantle my faith.
Millions of financial units are ploughed into determining if we are alone, if the Big Bang theory is true, if we came from Mars. I don't pay it much notice in terms of taking it as truth but I try to understand why they do it so I am equipped to discuss it with unbelievers.
I believe the only "other" place mankind will see that isn't on this earth is either heaven or hell. They exist, it's a solid fact and I don't need a Saturn v rocket to know it.
Our God is love and he promises to release us from the bonds of this life, his Word provides the answers every soul seeks, even the particle scientists and interplanetary travellers who are blinded by satan and cursed with the knowledge and understanding they see as a gift which only blinds them from the beautiful simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The opinion of many others is unfortunately taken on by those who do not have a very close relationship with Jesus Christ.

If they did have such a close relationship with Him, then they would know that aliens etc are just a figment of ingested fear.

Fear is something that grows in our subconscious that we are not totally aware of, until something in our lives makes us aware of it. The one who makes us aware of it is God, Our Abba Father. He loves us so very much He is patient beyond our very own comprehension of being patient.

No I am not a certified scholar, no I do not have letters after my name either. I tried to have these, until I had a physical and mental breakdown, such to cause me to only look to Abba Father for my answers.

We are created beings, made with a love that we cannot attain. We even have the promise of going to Heaven when we do literally die on this earth, but in going to Heaven, we will still be looking at God with the love we still cannot comprehend. God is still God and we look up to Him. As I said before, He created us with such an overwhelming love, He would never have made any other 'being' with such a hatred for us, His creation.

There can only be the one, true explanation.

The devil has inflicted peoples minds with these stories and they have believed him. So much so that motion pictures have been made about them, this also corrupts peoples consciousness. Also, many books have been written about them. There are many ways peoples subconsciousness can and have been invaded by the devil.

Stick with Jesus, The Lamb of God, who loves you so much that He gave His life for you. Only He made the way for you to be near the One True God. God has given us the ability to recognize this truth. Push through these tricks of the devil (remember, the devil will take many forms.)

Your Creator, God The Father, has made ONE way that you can be near Him. Follow His path to gain your true righteousness.

I don't feel that it would necessarily impact true Christians, because those that have read their word know that in Hebrews 11:3 It is spoken that "The WORLDS were FRAMED by GOD" worlds being the operative thought. I believe that God has put more than what our minute minds can really even conceive into motion and we are just touching the edge of what He, God really has for His children.

Christians need to be careful not to be drawn in inconclusive Earthly arguments. Of course we are not alone in the universe. Genesis clearly says that Yahweh created all things, visible and invisible. No creature (physical or spiritual) created itself. Therefore, since these so called aliens were created by Yahweh, it is his responsibility to take care of them and I am not bothered by these demonic drama. “The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, ‘Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand’” (Isaiah 14:24) “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please” (Isaiah 46:10).
Because I know that my creator is in charge and in control, I am not bothered and not even scared. It is not my responsibility to fight aliens and I have no business with them. Christians need to focus on worshipping Yahweh in the name of Yeshua of Nazareth and not be distracted by the fears caused by some rude and foolish demons which trespass on Earth.
Whenever demons attack me or whenever I feel a demonic presence around me, I simply say that the Lord Yahweh is my shepherd and that I shall fear no evil. I have no fear within me because I know that my redeemer lives and he is watching over me. I have had countless demonic bullyings but I have no scar on my body resulting. Funny enough, the very Freemasonry scientist who scare people about aliens worship Lucifer in the Masonic Lodges and Lucifer addresses them. They have full knowledge of the demonic spiritual beings around us but they pretend that they are investigating Aliens when they actually know that Aliens are indeed demons which they worship. Who are they fooling?

First off, space travel from one galaxy to another is impossible. To travel at the speed of light for any distance takes so much power and fuel, there wouldn't be a ship large enough to carry it all.

Secondly the distances between galaxies is so astronomical that it would literally take a ship thousands of years to get from one to another.

Thirdly, there is no mention of any sort of ET life in the Bible. This earth is it. Period. Jesus died for His chosen on this earth not on many other planets. We are unique in the universe.

Take the impossibilities of there being another planet in the solar system that meets all the requirements of life as we enjoy.

The size of the planet in comparison to the size of the sun. The distance between the two. The atmosphere needed. Moon(s) involved...the requirements needed are beyond probability and we must be content with the fact that no matter how astronomers probe the universe, they will never find life.

I find those who are interested in ET's are involved in the occult somehow. Whether it be yoga, meditation, astrology...whatever it may be, there is always a correlation. Another correlation is stats show that true believers in Christ do not believe in aliens. They know better. They know that any alien sightings are most likely demons masquerading themselves in hopes of deceiving the gullible.

There is an interesting two part video series here:

https://paultheslave.wordpress.com/2015/06/11/refuting-the-claim-that-ufos-have-visited-earth-or-even-exist/

It's well worth a listen.

Atheists and secularists would love nothing better than to discover the presence of aliens. Hence the millions of dollars spent on SETI and spaceships attempting to find life on Mars, the moon etc. Why? Because the Darwinian science goes like this. Life evolved on earth over millions of years to eventually result in us. The universe is billions of years old so there may be life evolved over many billions of years to give smarter folk than us out there who can visit us with advanced technology.

The main problem with this is that biological evolution cannot occur. That is mutations and natural selection, the engine of evolution, results in death and not higher life forms. The fossil record confirms this as there are no intermediate life forms visible in this record.

The alien viewing and abductions have been shown to be simply demonic manifestations. Born again Christians do not have these experiences research has shown. These viewing confirm the activity of Satan and cohorts. Remember he comes across as an angel of light and the Bible describes him as a deceiver. If interested, get further info on this matter get the dvds "Alien Abductions and UFOs exposed!" and/or "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind" by Gary Bates from Creation Ministries International. He also has an excellent book on this topic.

If you beleve that aliens are a threat then you must also believe that Jesus lied to you. He called God our Father. I believe Jesus. I don't believe common rumor or sudoscience or fear based mind control tactics.

I saw a UFO in Exeter, New Hampshire, in 1987. I believe now that it was supernatural evil and not anything sent by God to intervene in our doomed evolutional trajectory, as I was hoping for at the time. It's all smoke and mirrors operated by demons and human profiteers much like every other fantastic destraction we've been subjected to over the past century. Jesus is more real than our own self awareness. No matter how intriguing the phenomena seems to be it is still only an evil con designed to undermine the reality that Jesus is God and He is preparing a place for you to live with Him forever.
I think we will have access to the cosmos when Jesus returns. It is to be our infinite neighborhood. Satan is just trying to scare us into fear and confusion so we will doubt God.

Although many of us would prefer to spend our mental and physical energy on the wonderment of God and Jesus Christ and demonstrating that love by serving others, I think discussing the question of the existence of aliens is a good thing because we undoubtedly meet non-Christians who want to talk about this issue.

Whatever life we might find on another planet might be friendly or hostile, we don't know. We also don't know if they would need redemption because we know nothing about them and their relationship with God. That said, I don't see anything in the Bible that precludes them from existing nor anything that says if they exist then Christianity is wrong. Wouldn't it be interesting if they existed and are already saved!...That they already know and worship Jesus our Lord!

As a postgraduate scholar of Physics and Mathematics, I approach this question with different assumptions than those already expressed.

What we call angels and demons are not-human, intellectual and moral beings, and fit the bill as being of alien life form.

So, we have already had the alien encounter and it was at the beginning of the human race, and from one point of view it was disastrous as it was followed by the Fall. From the other point of view, it was the origin of the need for redemption, and resulted in the Word becoming Flesh.

With regards to this question, we do not have a true answer. The Bible isn’t about aliens, it’s about us. It’s about God and his plan to save humanity. Whether or not an alien would qualify to be saved or something is irrelevant to the purpose of the Bible so we are not given an answer on that topic. As Christians, I don’t believe we should be worrying ourselves over matters that can’t be answered or pertain to our relationship with God, when it comes to what matters in our lives; whether or not Jesus died for aliens that may or may not exist is more of a distraction. We neither need to or could answer the question accurately.
