I do not think the discovery of Noah's Ark, if ever, would be of any significance or benefit to the Christian Faith. There will emerge new debates regarding its authenticity which will not benefit us.

I would rather it is never discovered so that those who believe in God would do so on account of genuine faith and not by sight. 

Jesus rebuked the crowds who were following Him that they were motivated by material benefits including the miracles and not a genuine desire to believe in God. 

Matthew 11:23-25 says "And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. 25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."

The trouble with the human inquisition is not its desire to be led into faith but a penchant to physically prove all things through empirical science. This will never lead them closer to God. For instance there has been debate about the location of the Garden of Eden and this has led many to argue that the Genesis account on creation is part of Jewish mythology! 

My view is that blessed are those who believe without seeing. John 6:35-36 says "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not."

If the Jews saw and heard Jesus but still did not believe that He was the Messiah how will this evil generation have faith in God if they insist on physical evidence?

Even if Noah's ark was found, the materials would have most likely been used for numerous dwellings or firewood. The people that populate that part of the world utilize its resources and as big as it was, it would've been a great material resource. 

This has been true with cities built on top of other cities reusing building materials. Temples have been out-sourced many times; even Christian churches have reutilized materials from pagan temples. 

Islamic temples have been turned into Christian temples after religious wars displaced another religion's dominance. I have seen this on many archeological programs.

We now put our trust in a new type of ark: that ark type is Jesus Christ. The ark represents Him because through the ark mankind survived judgement. And through Jesus Christ we also that believe by faith in Him are saved from the judgment's wrath to come by grace alone, through faith.

The discovery of Noah’s Ark would most likely not have an impact on more people becoming Christians. In fact, the “Ark” has been verified on Mt. Arrat and it is mostly a odd looking shape of a ship’s hull because it has decayed to the point of almost no wood is left. The top of the “Ark” is more intact at a higher location but it too has decayed quite a bit.

Other Biblical artifacts have also been discovered by Ron Wyatt, who though has fallen asleep, was given “by God” their location, but it has not changed anyone’s mind at least in great numbers.
