Why does the world hate the Jews? Why is anti-Semitism so rampant in so many different nations? What is so bad about the Jews? History has shown that at various times over the last 1,700 years the ...

Excellent detailed post by brother Houdmann, I submit that there is also the deeded from God real estate issue of Israel, Jerusalem and the temple mount.

From Genesis this rebellious cosmic war has been waged through the sands of time, kingdoms have arisen and fallen, and the Jews remain.
The war continues with new recruits added as prophesied for a winner take all showdown. In the land God declared this rebellion would end, sixty miles North of Jerusalem in the valley of Jezreel.

The temple mount in Jerusalem across the valley from the mount of olives, where our Lord will return at the appointed time, is the focus point.

The threshing floor of Arunah a place of separation on mount Moriah later purchased by king David would become the temple mount.
The thirty six meter higher peak Akedah "Golgatha" is the place Abraham offered his son Isaac and God offered His son, our Lord!

As his time runs out for his short reign one last grab for the land to stop what is coming quickly. If the evil one through his minions can wrestle control of the very spot where our Lord will return and complete the final chapters of revelation.
Revelation 22:16

Consider currently we are pressuring Israel to give away this very piece of real estate to Palestinian president Mahmound Abbas or PLO Abu Mazen.
Who is currently in his tenth year of a four year term as president and will not recognise Israel.

In the Lord's freedom.............warrior on

The Jews have not been singled out for hatred more than any other group.
The belief that Jews are more hated than anyone else is based on a simple misunderstanding of human history. Almost every group of people that have been weaker or less numerous than their neighbours has suffered persecution, elimination or genocide.

10 Million Congolese were murdered by King Leopold II of Belgium in 1885 - 1912
17 Million Africans have been killed over five centuries by European, Arab, Asian, and African slave traders.
12 Million Native Americans have been killed over four centuries.
2 Million Armenians, the population of Anatolian Turkey had been exterminated
7 million Ukrainians were murdered and two million more sent to concentration camps by Josef Stalin's Soviet regime.
12 Million were killed by Hitler in concentration camps including Jews, communists, trade unionists, Christians and civilians plus 3 million Russian POWs left to die
2 million Cambodians were exterminated in the Khmer Rouge’s ‘Killing Fields in 1950s
2 million Tutsis were slaughtered in the Rwandan genocide in 1994
And Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic of China, qualifies as the greatest mass murderer in world history having tortured, brutalized, starved and killed 45 million in four years

No one should minimize the suffering of Jews or any other peoples. The hatred of minorities has been endemic the world over and not just directed at one people. There is a much bigger issue here than the world's hatred for the Jews. That's a very small part of the picture when seen against man's total inhumanity to mankind.

Regards,
Philip

The World is ignorant of whom the Jews are. Abraham was chosen by God and promised him a land that is specified in the old Testament. A specific land that God promised Him that would be for him and his decendents. His son Issac inherited that land and promise. Issac's son Jacob, whom God changed his name to Israel, received the same promised from God.

Jacob has 12 sons by 3 different women. His son Joseph was sold as a slave to a caravan going to Egypt by jealous brothers, but it was a full fit God's Will. Joseph became the number two man in Egypt (read his story in the Bible) and all his brothers and father's clan went to Egypt (total of 70 people). When the Egypians forgot who Joseph had been, they made Jacob's decendants slaves for over 400 years. Moses liberated the Isralites from Egypt (read the story of Moses) and after 40 years wandering in the desert, they arrived in the promised land that God gave them and their offspring. They conquered the land with God's help.

After many years they went away from God, so God dispersed them to the conquering nations. Over time many came back and settled in the promised land, but many were dispersed to all the countries of the World.

As God's chosen people, they have been blessed by God as the chosen people. Other people blame them for many things because if they are destroyed by Satan, then God's plan for the Universe will not be as He intended. All countries that honor Israel and the Jews no matter where they are will be blessed by God. God also said that He will bless those that Bless His people. That goes for countries that help and bless Israel, that God will bless them.

The Jews have blessed all humanity with inventions and in many other ways because God wanted it that way. Individual Jews are blessed by God and the people of the world don't know where their blessing come from so they invent many reasons to put them down and destroy them (Satan wants to destroy them completely). Still God intervenes to keep His promises to them through Abraham.

The World that does not believe in the Bible and the true God of Abraham are ignorant about the reason that God picked them as His chosen People. The Jews will play a very important role in the end times when Jesus Christ comes back to establish His Kingdom on Earth.

The last 3 answers are so true about the Jews, but if you want to know the whole story of what will happen and why the Jews were the chosen people and how this world will end and will be replaced with the Son of God, Jesus Christ as the Head and Jerusalem as it's Capitol, read the Book of Revelations.

The old and new testaments will point you to God (Father, Son and Spirit), in which His Son is the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life to to eternal life for there is no other. If you call on his name you will be saved, so don't wait to know the Creator and Savior of the Universe.

I think it's pretty simple actually... Jesus is a Shepard,... Scripture says " strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter... The original sheep where the Jews, and they have been scattered throughout the earth... And The Lord has used Gentile nations to shepherd them back, while at the same time, creating more sheep from those gentile nations, no different then he did in the old testament.

Just now we (Gentiles) have the Holy Spirit.... The reason for the hatred of Jews I think is found in Galatians 3 :10 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." They reject the truth of who Jesus Christ is, his grace, etc... You can't say you believe the truth and worship the one true God and reject Jesus at the same time... Here is what 1 john 2:22 says: "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
