Romans 6:5-8

Dead to Sin, Alive to God

⁵ For _u if we have been united with him in _v a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. ⁶ We know that _w our old self _{1 x} was crucified with him in order that _y the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. ⁷ For _z one who has died _a has been set free ₂ from sin. ⁸ Now _b if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
