Psalm 49:6-9

Why Should I Fear in Times of Trouble?

⁶ those who _n trust in their wealth
and boast of the abundance of their riches?
⁷ Truly no man _o can ransom another,
or _p give to God _q the price of his life,
⁸ for _r the ransom of their life is costly
and can never suffice,
⁹ that he should live on forever
and _s never see the pit.
