Joshua 13:33

NLT - 33 But Moses gave no allotment of land to the tribe of Levi, for the Lord, the God of Israel, had promised that he himself would be their allotment.

The allotments spoken of in the Bible referred to the division of the "Promised Land" of Canaan (between the Jordan River to the east and the Mediterranean Sea to the west, and the Sinai Peninsula to the south and Mount Hermon in the North) into geographic areas that were assigned to the individual tribes of Israel (with the exception of the priestly tribe of Levi (as noted in the verse cited in the question, and also the tribes of Reuben and Gad, as well as the half-tribe of Manasseh, which requested and were granted allotments on the east side of the Jordan, provided that they would actively aid the other tribes in the military conquest of the land to the west of the Jordan).
