Israel Forsakes the Lord

² "Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord,
"I remember the devotion of _k your youth,
your love _l as a bride,
_m how you followed me in the wilderness,
_n in a land not sown.
³ _o Israel was holy to the Lord,
_p the firstfruits of his harvest.
_q All who ate of it incurred guilt;
disaster came upon them,
declares the Lord."
