What if Rev. 17:10 represents modern Babylon where the kings are presidents? Hence, the conformation of the current prophetic revelation can look at the last seven presidents in various countries. Five fallen will represent those dead or out of power. The one that “now is” represents a president who is alive. “One shall reign for a short time” represents a president with a short term of office. Finally, the “eighth must be of the seven” means that a president who served already and is alive will return as the eighth king.
