I only want to add that in studying the scriptures, I have learned that it is important to do that properly, and the rule is context, context, context. That is, don't take one passage or verse and make it say what you want it to; examine it in the context of previous verses, setting, etc.

One of the main things we are to test the spirits is by the gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.

Galatians 1:7-9 Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received from us, let him be accursed.

There is only one gospel and only on Jesus. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If anyone adds to the gospel by faith alone, they are perverting the gospel and making it by works. Romans 11:6 Salvation is all grace, no works. If it was by works, it would no longer be grace.

No one can be saved by works. Only by faith alone in Jesus alone apart from works for the free gift of eternal life. Romans 4:5-8 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Those that add works to grace are perverting the gospel which can only be received as a free gift, not earned.

Acts 16:31. You can not add to, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. John 3:18 John 6:40 and John 6:29.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. The GIFT Of God is eternal life, It can not be earned or worked for.

Romans 1:16 Faith alone apart from works for the free gift of eternal life. John 1:12 John 3:16-18. John 6:47.

We do not repent of sin to be saved. We repent, go from unbelief to belief. People add the word sin to repent. It never says repent of your sins. It says to repent. Go from unbelief to belief.

Romans 11:29 For the GIFTS, eternal life, and the calling of God, John 12:32 are without repentance. Irrevocable. Can not be changed back.

It is easy for new converts to be deceived by false teachers. If you compare the gospel of all grace with what they are preaching then you will know when they are preaching a false gospel of works salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9. Matthew 7:15:23. Romans 11:6. All grace, no works. Our works can not save sinners.

The wolves are experts at twisting scripture. They are the ministers of Satan.
