 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.... The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."

I truly believe we will study The Great Incarnation for all of eternity. I, for one, do not tire of the subject here on Earth, afflicted as I am, and as all men are, with mere mortal bodies that fatigue, and become consumed with the trials of survival.

Yet, in Heaven, and on the New Earth, and wherever we may roam throughout Creation, we will be able to speak with all the Heavenly host. They are watching our travails closely. How can we exhaust this miracle! We cannot! Each renewed contemplation brings more precious nuggets of faith to the believer.

God became man, through the birth of the Baby in the Manger; in a small, insignificant settlement known as Bethlehem. By taking on the trappings of mortality, while still possessing the Infinite God Factor, Jesus performed over a thirty-three year period, the perfect life story that proves the limitless love of God the Father.

From His dwelling place in Heaven, to come down to this Earth, inhabit a mortal body, endure unimaginable suffering, and yet triumph...

It is the stuff of eternity! The ineffable sacrifice that only our Creator could have accomplished! Wow!

One cannot imagine how to understand this mystery in all its fullness but what is so awesome is that firstly Jesus' according to the flesh was totally human yet without a drop of sin. Unlike all other humanity, death had a right to claim us. The spread of sin and death was imputed to all that were ever born except Jesus Christ. 

Rom 5:12.Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 
So then the first implication is that Christ by the Majestic working of God was kept from the corruption of sin though being truly originated from the flesh of man. How this was possible is another great mystery. Some have tried to overcome this complication by teaching that God created and placed a divinely created ovum into Mary's womb so that it could not have the contamination of sin. If that were true though, Jesus would not be generated from man at all and the scripture could not say that Jesus was Son of David or Son of Abraham. Mat 1:1.The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
 
Jesus was born from the generations, according to the flesh, of man. Paul puts it like this, Rom 1:3.Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
This fact then meant that Christ had to come from all the generations of Man including Adam and Eve. So then Jesus was born of man and born in the same state as Adam and Eve were when they were created. Which means they were without sin at that time and Jesus was without sin at His conception.
One wonders how then the disease of sin spreads to all men. I feel there is a Scripture that indicates as to how Jesus in His humanity avoided the corruption of sin. 
1Pe 1:23.Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 
The seed of man is called corruptible seed and when it comes into the ovum a spirit being is conceived and it's that point that the corruption of sin is imputed to the person. When Jesus was conceived it was the Word of God becoming flesh and thus could not have any corruption in it. In fact everything that comes in contact with the Word of God afterwards also becomes pure, by that I mean that whenever the Spirit of God gives birth to a Christian they become totally pure by that Word of God. This could only happen after the coming of Christ as the Word of God made flesh.
Anyone to whom He came that received Him would be given the power to become sons of God and thus be totally pure and justified and in the process of sanctification.

The second implication is that Jesus according to the flesh was a created being. In other words, the flesh Jesus resided in was created by Jesus the Son of God. This is an astounding fact. Jesus according to His Son-ship as the Son of God always preexisted and indeed was the Word creating the Man that Jesus according to the flesh would come from. There is a very powerful thought in this regard that comes from 
1Pe 1:10.It was concerning this salvation that the prophets made careful search and investigation, and they prophesied about this gift which God would give you. 

1Pe 1:11.They tried to find out when the time would be and how it would come. This was the time to which Christ's Spirit in them was pointing, in predicting the sufferings that Christ would have to endure and the glory that would follow. 
So Christ according to His divinity was in the Prophets as the Word of God predicting the sufferings of Christ coming in the Flesh. This dual appearance has confused many and thus they have tried to separate the Divinity of Christ from His Humanity. Some have implied that Christ was a created Angel that became man. No, it Was the Divine Son whose name is "The Word of God" that entered Man and became flesh. In this way Jesus came down from Heaven from the Father. How Awesome is such a mystery.
