James 5:14: Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

The elders anoint with oil that depicts the power of God's holy spirit. God heals by means of His holy spirit power, that is how He existing in eternity can reach out to us in space and time creation.

I have no doubt that God heals to-day even as He did during the time of Jesus and the apostles.

Jesus usually stated after healing someone that "their faith had brought them healing". However, if God chooses not to intervene and heal, we know that in the coming new age we will be healed completely when we become immortal men and woman in His glorious soon coming Kingdom. May that day of healing soon come!
