Every single person on this planet will face the exact same thing at death - God. The how in which a person dies does not actually affect anything. The person who dies of natural causes, the alcoholic, the cancer victim, the soldier who sacrifices himself, even the suicidal all face God when they die. The determining factor in the location that a person goes to after they die is determined solely upon whether or not they were forgiven of their sins prior to their death. Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Ephesians 1:13-14 - In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation -- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.
