God grieved and He got angry in the "Old Testament." He gave serious warnings and administered severe punishment, even among His Chosen People, the Jews. Today we live in the Christian Covenant, that Covenant provided and explained by Jesus to the Apostle Paul in and after Acts 9. It is because of God’s unswerving love that he is grieved when we sin, defying and ignoring His offer of eternal life, It is not His Will that any of us should perish (2 Peter 3:8-10). Paul wrote to the Ephesians “Grieve not the Holy Spirit whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption,” (Ephesians 4:30). God desires that we embrace and enjoy love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5.22-23). www.booksie.com/Don_Watson
