The “Ancient Aliens”, you must be referring to the History Channel series. Perhaps they are the fallen angels and the giants that were born to them when they married women on earth. These fallen angels knew much more than any human that would have lived on earth at that point in time. These fallen beings would have abused their powers and revealed to humans things that were not supposed to be revealed.

Example, Astrology and all the cosmic knowledge would have been revealed to men by these beings.

Perhaps because of these fallen angels, and the new race of giants, God had to wipe out the entire life on earth (except Noah and family and animals on board The Ark).
