In my humble opinion No, the mythical qualities are fanciful and heretical that's the basic problem then doctrines and theatrical traditions are not Biblical. You add precepts that do not appear in scripture, with no corroborating evidence to support it, but force for those who may disagree. Or in some cases for the crime of translating from the Latin or having a Bible was enough for death, God gave the Jew "Torah" before any man centered church tradition began.

Obviously NOT all beliefs and practices of the Church is Biblical, and with a simple obvious reason - the Church existed four centuries before the books of the Bible were formally listed. She already had traditions which came from Christ, even before the books of the New Testament were written. The Church protects the sources of divine revelation - Oral and Written traditions. The Bible falls under Written tradition - the Bible is Church-based. The Church is not Bible-based. The Bible came from the Church, not the other way around.
