I have read a lot of questions about Jesus, some are questions just to know more about Jesus the man however there are questions raised that in spirit they seem demonic. Coming from heaven Jesus was asked by His followers about marriage and he replied in Heaven they are not given into marriage there is so much nonsense written about Jesus that Evil is behind it to get believers to take their minds off the message of the Cross and for this reason only did Jesus come into this world. That is a lie straight out of the pit He never married

I have been dumbfounded for the longest time as to how and why this topic is still being debated. Simply reading through the scriptures that share the life of Christ here on earth is more than enough proof that he was not married. This question does not need a long winded answer. Yes, we as Christians are the bride of Christ. However, though he probably longed for a mate as most of us do, He lived and died for a far greater purpose.

Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. 1 Timothy 1:4, " Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith:so do. 2 Timothy 2:14,16, 23, " Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 16, But shun profane and vain bablings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 23, But foolish and unlearned questions avoid,knowing that they do gender strife. My point here is that, only a fool will say in his heart that there is no God. We have no need to argue about what they are saying concerning JESUS CHRIST, whether He was married or not. We are aware that Jesus Christ wasn't married because Jesus Christ is God who came in flesh, 100% God and 100% human, so he cannot marry. His purpose on earth was for Him to be sacrificed as a Lamb for the remission of our sins and He did it, and He is coming back again very soon. Let's not argue about those vanities because they are irrelevant to our salvation and what we believe. That our names are written in the book of life.

In principle, YES, Jesus got married. Solomon is the son of David who became King of Jews. His name (Shlomo) means Prince of Peace (from Shalom), and he married 700 times to different women to increase Israel political alliances with other tribes. However, polygamy is not really a good practice. Jesus is also the Son of David, the King of the Jews. He is the Prince of Peace. He married himself to the entire world, and he did this in a monogamous fashion. We are the bride of Christ, and in marital language, we became one body with Christ.

People everywhere and of every age are inclined to rumor and gossip. It's quite easy to invent "a wife" for Jesus, all the more it doesn't require faith or intellect. Why do the people of the world are interested in attaching a woman to Jesus,is it to ridicule the ministry or blaspheme the church,may I ask the proponent of this theory "who was the wife of Elijah and Elisha" what about Paul and other powerful men of God mentioned in the Bible.if men can be Eunock to have time and energy to serve their country why then do we find it difficult to accept that it is possible to do the assigned work of God without marrying .Let all men remember that Jesus was send to the world to correct the misdeed or mistake of Adam who fell through the antics of a woman in the garden it will then be unthinkable that God will still attach woman to the salvation of man also if we believe that Jesus is God? Who then will be His wife among the creature having known the antecedent of Mary Magdalene is she suitable to marry God? Let it be known to the whole world that the kind of leadership portrayed by Jesus is beyond human comprehension and cannot be linked to any woman association, the kingdom of heaven is devoid of marriage and Jesus coming to the world did not preached marriage but repentance from sin, we should not be distracted by this fables but focus on our Lord Jesus whose wife is the church

God did not spare the spirit in Christ. He was completely and wholly God in the flesh. Jesus told the Sadducees that they erred and did not know the power of God. That there is no marrying or giving in marriage in heaven, we are like the angels. We are given the desires here in order to procreate. In heaven, all desires are complete as we are made whole in want of nothing. I believe you will love your mate more in heaven but have no physical desire an eternal friend. Jesus was complete and whole in need of no wife. His wife would become the bride of Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:5 reads: "We each have the right to marry one of the Lord's followers and to take her along with us, just as the other apostles and the Lord's brothers and Peter do." If Paul knew Jesus to be married, surely this would be THE time and place to bring this marriage up!

I believe that the church is betrothed to Jesus; the church is the bride being prepared by the Helper to receive the Bridegroom when He comes to pick us up. Mary Magdalene typifies the church — earthly at times, helpful, supportive, emotional, and easily distressed. Jesus was not married to her or to anyone when He walked on the earth. The event — the marriage supper of the lamb — indicates that He will indeed be married, but at an appointed time to come.

I like this answer as it is both scientific and biblical. Another reason some would like Jesus to be married is because there is a small group of "relatives of Jesus" living around the world. They say they are descendants of Jesus' children and therefore have the expected pride this "lineage" would foster. They are wildly invested in this myth.

It does not minimize the power and divine uniqueness of Jesus that he engaged in personal relationships. I don't even ponder it. It would not diminish his role, that he was God on earth, even if some of the miracles were explained away by logistics or slight of hand. I do believe in the miracles that Jesus and some of his contemporaries presented, and I believe that if we could clear the clutter of earthly distractions, and are pure in our devotion to God, we, too, could perform a few miracles. I am not a bit dissuaded by whatever Jesus may have done as an extraordinarily decent man. It would not be "evil" that he may have fallen in love. That being said, I can see that his lack of a focused love was due to his broader role. Let's not get bothered and distracted that any of these things. Don't assume that a man who loves a woman is a lesser man.

My belief is Jesus came to suffer as all men so no way can we go to Heaven and say "Jesus you don't know what you are talking about.you didn't experience this" therefore I suggest that it is very possible that Jesus was married.

Jesus Christ was not conceived by a man. He was conceived by The Holy Spirit for the purpose of liberating mankind from sin. The Bible say that He knew no sin and during His ministry He was Focused on doing the will of the Father going from towns to cities healing and setting captives free and He had no time for anything else. His compassion was for the poor and the downtrodden. So I don't believe Jesus Christ was married.

Genesis 2 asserts that the purpose of marriage is to have children to replenish and have dominion over the earth. If Jesus were married, then there would be a demonstration of this through child bearing. No record of children means no marriage.

Here is the truth of Christ concerning whether he was married or not. In Hebrews the scriptures tell us that Christ was made a high priest, meeting the same characteristics as Melchisedec. Just as Melchisedec, he had no earthly father or mother or descendants. Christ came from on high. The apostle wrote that God created two Adams. The first with a living soul and the second as a quickening spirit. Mary did give birth to God’s new creation, but she was just the vessel God chose to use. There is no scriptures that ever indicate Christ ever married. Hebrews 6: Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

It is insignificant whether Jesus married or not. If He did then He would have followed His own principles of marriage that are written in 1Corinthians chapter 7.

If I knew that I was about to give myself into the hands of an occupying army to be put to death, how selfish would that be if I were to take a virgin woman to have my child alone, without me, unable to marry another. In any case although Jesus had half a dozen siblings, they could not be relied on to care for my wife and child when I had gone... look how he asked his second most senior disciple to take responsibility for his mother... where were Joseph and his half-brothers?
