Can we live a sinless life? Of course you can. All things are possible though God. Did any man live a sinless life yesterday? No. Will any man live a sinless life today? No. I tell you, I sinned thousands of tlmes before I opened my eyes this morning. Most people would define sin as an action, deed, activity, conduct, or doing something. I believe the gravest of sin is inaction, doing nothing at all. (Mathew 25:31-46) what you do to the least of my brothern, you did to me. Yes, I have sinned many times today. When a child dies in this world due to the lack of food, medicine or living conditions, I have sinned. When men are imprisoned, not a prison with walls, guards, and bars, but the prison of discrimination, prejudice, or poverty, I have sinned. My sin of inaction allows evil and injustice to flourish in this world. If we all stand up in protest to injustice, the world will become as God planned it. A nation of priests. Where there will be no need for laws, no need for police, no need for prison, no need for lawyers, no need for government. So yes, one day we will live in a sinless world, but it won't be today.

Unless a person is in a coma, without brain activity, I believe each person sins daily. It does not require physical action to commit sin for James 7:17 states “him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin”. In a similar manner, lusting with our eyes can be sin as stated in Mark 9:47.

This prophet writes by permission of the Holy Spirit. Yes! We can live sinless lives. This is the purpose of Jesus and the Holy Ghost. Jesus came as the perfect example and ensample of how to live holy and sinless lives. Jesus said "I give you power over all power of the enemy". It is not Gods purpose for man to live a defeated life. My bible tells me "I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me". When we heed the word and obey the Holy Spirit we are "more than conquerers" and world overcomers. And when we do fall short and miss the mark we have a high priest and counselor, mediator who is waiting for us to repent. And when we do repent he "is faithful and just to forgive us from all of our sins and cleans us from all righteousness" we stand in the righteousness of God thru Jesus. Not the righteousness of man but the righteousness of God. I cant speak for everyone but I thank God everyday for Jesus being in my life. If he has removed my sin, paid the price then the least I can do is thank him and walk and talk in his glory. I thank God that we are not forsaken but forgiven. Gods grace, mercy, spirit and Son is so much greater than sin. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I cant do anything without him but everything with him. I thank God for the relationship we have with him thru Jesus. If Jesus says that my sins are forgiven I am not about to let anyone tell me otherwise.

Fallen man--utterly corrupt in thought, word and deed--need realize that his best is either soiled in sin or dead works (Heb 9:14). We that were purchased by the blood of Christ, that repented and believed The Christ of God (Luke 9:20) to become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Cor 5:21), still sin inherently, intrinsically, intentionally. What then distinguishes the believer from the unbeliever when both sin? Forgiveness. Being justified by faith in Christ, the forgiven are not innocent but graciously pardoned of guilt because of the Lord's exhaustive work at Calvary. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). With 613 Laws of the Old Testament called the Mitzvot and 38 Commandments from the four Gospels or 1050 commands via repetition in the New Testament for believers to obey, how else but surely that the just shall live by faith! (Rom 1:17) NB Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone, Solus Christus - Christ Alone, Sola Gratia - Grace Alone, Sola Fide - Faith Alone, Soli Deo Gloria - The Glory of God Alone.

Who can claim to love God with all his heart, mind, and soul every moment of every day? Not anyone I know! "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9, KJV). God was telling Jeremiah that all humans have a bent towards sin. Our inherited sin is simply “the sinful state into which all people are born” (Ryrie). We have a constant bent toward sin. Other verses supporting the universality of sin are 1 Kings 8:46 and Ecclesiastes 7:20 (where even King Solomon in the Old Testament knew that he and his men struggled with sinning daily, as he said in his prayer at the dedication of the temple in 1 Kings 8:46. Solomon spoke of it again in Ecclesiastes 7:20: "Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins."). See also Psalm 51:5 and Romans 5:12. I don't think we have to do anything to be always guilty of sin. We are born in sin, shaped (assembled, brought about) in iniquity (Psalm 51:5). That's what David wrote of himself. I think it describes how we all are born. He says he was brought here in iniquity; he didn't say BY an act of iniquity. He's not talking about the sexual act that produced him. There's nothing immoral (evil) about a man and woman procreating. I don't think I need to provide scriptural proof of that. God told us to be fruitful and increase in number (multiply). Genesis 9:7 I think David means he was / we are brought forth in a world soaked in sin, by people who are soaked in sin. It's like a fish hatched in water; it has been wet since it was hatched. Can it go a day without being wet? No! It lives in water; it has never been dry, and it never will be if it remains alive! Being wet is the life of a fish. It doesn't have to do anything to be pronounced wet, it's how it lives. It doesn't have to swim to be wet. Similarly, we are born drenched in sin. We don't have to do anything! We inhale and exhale in sin the way a fish gets its oxygen from the water it lives in. There's no way for us to ever draw a breath free from iniquity. It's how we are born. We are sinners born of sinners; It's in our blood. Romans 3:9-18 describes us perfectly. He sets it up thusly: What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; (He means everybody who isn't born again. He's talking about being under the law, but that's the only difference in the saved and the unsaved; THE LAW; remember he said above, 'we are no better than they are.' (Read on). As it is written, “There is no one righteous, not even one; 11there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. 12All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” b 13“Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” c “The poison of vipers is on their lips.” d 14“Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” e 15“Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16ruin and misery mark their ways, 17and the way of peace they do not know.” f 18“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” The answer is NO, we not only can't go a day without sinning (free from sin), we have never lived a second free from sin. We sin because we live in sinful flesh, the way a fish stays wet because it lives in water. We don't have to commit a sinful act to be a sinner; we're born into it... It's kind of easy to lie to yourself and say you love God the way we're supposed to, with all that is within us (heart, soul, mind, and strength). Who among us will say we love all 8,000,000,000 other people the way we love ourselves? EVERY SINGLE ONE of them! Because that's what "love your neighbor as you love yourself" means. Who is my neighbor? Those "Samaritans," that's who. I live in the United States. I've been surrounded by "Samaritans" all of my life. I'm still trying to learn to love them the way I love myself. It isn't easy... I don't think they find me easy to love either!
