Well, as a God's creation, man is not authorized to name God at all (Gen.2:19-20; Exodus 3:14; 20:7) but to all God's creations in the earth.
As God Has said:"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways"declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts"(Isaiah 55:8-9). Christians (a disciple, believer and follower of Jesus's teaching)are authorized to call God in praying :Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.(Mat.6:9).
So, all such a name given by man in The Old Testament to name God, was an efforts of man to reunite a broken relationship with God as all men have been sinned. But, "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perished but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son" (John 3:16-18)
In conclusion, we are all have been sentenced to die (Gen.2:17) but not yet executed and God has given us a chance to appeal for grace through Jesus Christ his one and only Son.

Man has no authority to name God, but living creatures (Genesis 2: 19-20; Exodus 3: 13-14).
As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we are taught to call God : Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name. (Mathew 6: 9).
