Does God help us out of ALL our troubles (Psalm 34:17)?
17 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. I am interested in this because The lyrics to "The Righteous Cry Out" are based on Psalm 34:17-18 and Psalm 46:2,11 (NKJV): Psalm 34:17-18 (NKJV): The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

I would say that He does, although the manner or timing of our deliverance may not conform to our limited, temporal expectations. (I would also note that, strictly speaking, none of us qualify as "righteous" in the purest sense of that word.) Whenever I encounter difficulties, I try to look for ways in which God may be working through them for my benefit (Romans 8:28). I also try to remember that nothing that I have experienced (or will ever experience) in my life is worth even comparing with the coming joy of the eternal life that is mine through faith in Christ (Romans 8:18).

Anonymous, judging by the tone of your question, I don't think you believe that Psalm 34 can be counted on to be true for everybody. I think you have a misunderstanding of what's being asserted by the Psalmist. The Psalmist is living by faith, not by what he sees in advance of something happening. He's looking at the past. Listen to him in this psalm: The proud have me in great derision, Yet I do not turn aside from your law. I remembered Your judgments of old, O LORD, And have comforted myself. (Psalm 119:51,52). The Psalmist trusts God because of God's testimonies. He believes God will deliver him because he keeps God's law. What does that mean? It means David KEPT God's commandments in his heart. He trusted that God knew his heart. He also knew that God considered that he was only dust (Psalm 103:14). Does God deliver you out of every trouble? You and only you can answer that. David was speaking for himself. By faith Israel passed through the Red Sea. By faith the walls of Jericho fell. By faith Rahab the harlot didn't perish with those who didn't believe. By faith Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. (Hebrews 11:29-35) All of that was by faith. (Here's the one that answers your question if you can believe it. If you wait until you understand it to believe it you won't ever get it) By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead STILL SPEAKS. (Hebrews 11:4) (emphasis mine) God is still testifying of Abel's faithfulness. Abel was murdered by his brother. Through God's testimony of Abel's righteous worship, Abel is still speaking. It is by faith that the righteous are delivered out of every trouble.
