when God created man in his image man on the 6th day after his image and likeness. Man became a spirit that have a soul with a mind. The spirit is the real you the soul is our free will, emotions and desires and the mind is our intellect and it storage information and gather information from heavenly realm or earth realm. We are to love God with all your heart,soul and mind. Because of Jesus Christ we have a new created spirit that is born again. We are dead to sin and alive to God. We have the image of Christ. Our Spirit's soul makes the decisions base upon God's word or human senses Proverbs 21:10,16:24,19:2 We are told to renew our minds. Because our minds are not born again. An idle mind is the devil's workshop Proverbs 19:15 Cast down imaginatons and bring every thought to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. Whatsoever things that are just, honest, pure think on these things. We are a Spirit,we have a soul ad we live inside a body.
