Comparison of ourselves with others is not a valid standard for Christians, especially if it causes us (unlike the questioner) to develop deceptive, sinful pride concerning our own "goodness". (Jesus indicated this in His parable of the Pharisee and the publican in Luke 18:9-14.) At the same time, however, conviction of our own individual sinfulness or unworthiness -- an attribute that characterizes all humans, especially in comparison with the complete holiness of God -- is not meant to cause us to become overwhelmed with a feeling of hopelessness, but is intended to lead us to the one means that God has provided to have our sins forgiven -- faith in Christ's redeeming death and subsequent resurrection. Having received that faith-based forgiveness, we can then use Christ's sinlessness as a model for our own subsequent actions, and seek God's continuing forgiveness for Christ's sake following those occasions when we fall short.
