Is accepting Jesus the only way for people to get to heaven? (John 14:6)
Some who call themselves evangelicals are openly insisting that faith alone in Jesus is not the only way to heaven. They are now convinced that people of all faiths will be in heaven.
John 14:1 - 14
ESV - 1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

Everyone in the world is a sinner because we are imperfect and no one lives up to Gods perfect standard.
Romans 3:23, and Romans 3:9-10. God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect sinless life, die on the cross to take the punishment we deserve, and rose from the dead to prove He was who He said He was and give us hope in Him that we will raise from the dead also.
There is no other way of salvation. Jesus said I am the door. Nothing we do or do not do could save us. We have no way to pay our debt to God. God accepted Jesus death and one blood sacrifice for anyone who would accept it as the only way of salvation by grace. Nothing we do can save us.
Jesus plus anything else cannot save. What ever the else is is an idol that cannot save.
The broad road to destruction is to trust in anything other than what Jesus did. Jesus is the narrow way because there is no other way.
John 3:16-18. Gods word and He cannot lie. John 6:40 Gods word, and He cannot lie. John 6:47, Gods word and He can not lie. First John 5:13 Believers know we have eternal life because we have believed on Jesus as the only way of salvation apart from any works or action. Faith alone in Jesus alone. Acts 16:31
If there was any other way for us to be saved then Jesus died in vain.
First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. The second we believe that gospel we are given eternal life and sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13-14. Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30. And Grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, BUT, the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The gift of God is eternal life. It is not a reward for good behavior or keeping the law and doing good works. IT is a free gift because no one can earn it. Romans 11:6. All grace, no works. Our works can not save sinners. Only Jesus finished work on the cross can save us.
Jesus paid our sin debt in full so we could no longer be condemned. John 3:18. The simplicity of the gospel. I have no sins to pay for. Jesus already paid for every sin I have committed and every sin I will commit in the future.
Colossians 2:13. He has forgiven me ALL trespasses. I cannot go to hell for any reason. I have no sins to pay for. First John 2:2. John 3:18.
First John 5:13. First John 1:8. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the TRUTH is not in us. One sin, one little lie would send us to hell forever. Jesus paid the debt we owe God and set us free.
I know 100% I am going to heaven because it is based on Gods word, and He cannot lie. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, everyone, that HE gave His only Begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER, believeth in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. First John 2:2. Those who have received it are saved. Those who have not received the free gift are not saved. Once you have it you cannot lose it because it is eternal life. Not temporary life, or probationary life, but ETERNAL LIFE. John 10:28-29. Gods word and He can not lie. I have eternal life. I deserve to go to hell. But Jesus paid the debt and set me free. John 3:18.
