The book of Revelation gives us some spectacular visions of what heaven is like, especially chapters 4,5,19,20,21,22.

There are also some great descriptions in Ezekiel ch 1 and Isaiah ch 6.

In practical terms, we will worship God since that is what we were created for, just like the angels. We will also rest from the struggle of human existence as Christians living in a sinful world.

In the New Earth, with our glorious new eternal bodies, we will once again take care of the earth, as God intended at creation.

John Newton said that when we get to heaven, there will be three wonders:

1. Who is there

2. Who is not there, and

3. The fact that I’m there!

Is it t:rue that as society says today that everyone goes to heaven when they die? No! Hear the Bible's 21 Bible Verses about What Heaven Will Be Like
--Clarence L. Haynes Jr. (selected verses):

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).

“Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again’” (John 3:3).

“Jesus answered, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit’” (John 3:5).

So the Bible tells us who will not go to Heaven and who will.
