How can I be assured that I will go to heaven when I have to take opiates every day due to a medical condition?
I have to take opiates every day. There are no treatments left for my medical issue. I don't want to die a drug addict, but I am unable to function without help. Can I still get to heaven?

There is an assurance of salvation. Most believe the only way they can know for sure is when they die. With this type of thinking offers no hope. Your hope is assured in whether or not you have received eternal life. The definition of eternal life is given to us in John 17. Eternal life is a personal relationship with the Father and the Son. If you have this, you are in the Father. Seek to see if God truly abides in you.
