Why would anyone offer a "bribe" to a man for his wife’s favors (Proverbs 6:32–35)?
NIV He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse a bribe, however great it is.
Proverbs 6:35
ESV - 35 He will accept no compensation; he will refuse though you multiply gifts.
