Is there physical proof of the existence of Jesus Christ?

I realize that there is the Shroud of Turin, but that is suspect.  Is there any other document or physical article, other than the Bible, that mentions Jesus Christ?  Something that was written or found around the same time that Jesus was on the earth?  If something does exist, I would like to expand my understanding of our Lord.
