A timely question for our time and I humbly submit for your consideration that the unfolding events seem to indicate the coming apart of the Babylonian system as hidden corruptions are exposed within some of it's revered or somewhat trusted subsystems.

In our current immoral season the dark domain through it's ideological leftists fellow travelers are emboldened after eight years of acquired raw power through unchecked lawlessness with no accountability or responsibly for any actions or crimes. 
Leninism; an elite group to whom rules and laws do not apply, only party discipline. History from antiquity tells us that power once gotten by any means via a totalitarian structure, will never just go quietly into the night. (Ecclesiastes 10:2; Matthew 25:33; Matthew 25:34; Matthew 25:41; Nehemiah 4:9; Psalms 149:6)

This adversarial theology of conquest is diametrically opposed to any civil decorum of free thoughts or speech as the logical common sense weakness of their position would be exposed; something which it's PC hall monitors will never permit. (1 Timothy 5:20)
As such some freedom loving people have been alert to this existential threat and on guard for all the generated deceptions that will always accompany their movements.
(Philippians 1:28; Ephesians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:10)

Government run indoctrination centers called schools and universities guide their eternal adolescent captives into a delusional and sentimental Marxism-Leninism with it's subjugation of soul, while separating creation from CREATOR. (Ephesians 4:14; Colossians 2:8; 2 Thessalonians 2:12)

This non reality or illogically based cookie cutter secular instruction serves only their demonic plans. Consider these intelligentsia leftists slogans from past elections; “CHARACTER does not matter” or “EXPERIENCE does not matter”; commissar Teddy Kennedy sanctimoniously pontificated on "a women's right to chose". (Psalms 140:11)

Bottom Line: a secular messiah 
Using the power of government alphabet agencies to monitor then undermine any resistance, drawing its adherents into the streets, then beating the living tar out of them, to educate [intimidate] others. Simply resistance guys go to jail and your guys patch up their wounds, moving on to the next scheduled demonstration [riot street fight] blaming everything on the other side [kristallnacht]. (Proverbs 24:11)

Apart from a Biblical foundation and anchor one will be subject to the forces of the Babylonian world system and it's evil master. (Hosea 5:4; Judges 17:6; Luke 12:4)

As only God can judge what is in our hearts at any given time, it’s His call as to any level of accountability that might be due on our account. The daily control we exercise over keeping that number small, is our responsibility as obedient servants of the Most High.(Proverbs 8:13; 2 Corinthians 6:7) 

Stand and deliver the truth on all matters remembering if your doing it right the world should hate you as they did our Master. Warrior be of good courage on this asymmetrical battle field as our enemies play by no rules thus incivility is the first note played; trying to use our compassionate nature against us. (1 Peter 5:5; 1 Timothy 6:5)

Consider the seemingly small bit players whose active stage time was short, but became giants for their deeds and exploits within the tapestry of the Bible while the light of history was upon them. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

If Christians are unwilling or fail to defend principles, themselves or the innocent. How will the eternal adolescents realize any truth? (Jeremiah 51:30; 1 Corinthians 16:13)
