In leaving them an inheritance you are showing them God's grace. I'm sure they know about your faith, and "the world" would tell us and them that to punish them for not having faith you should leave them nothing. 

But we should not be of this world. Love is a gift from God as are your material goods; use them...and in doing so their hearts, in Gods time, may be softened and they may turn to Him. Can we deny them that opportunity to know our Lord?

The bible says we are to lay up and inheritance for our children, not the children for the parents. 

The greatest inheritance we leave for our children is to let them know that God loves them and if they put their trust in Him they will go to heaven when they die. John 3:16. John 3:18 and John 5:24

But I believe there are other ways to leave an inheritance. We should save up for our old age so that we are not a burden to our children. We should leave what we have accumulated over a life time to them whether they are believers or not. I believe it is the will of God to do so. They may become believers after we are gone. 

If a husband and wife truly love each other, our children will see that in us and we leave that as an example to them. If we live within our means, we leave an example to our children. If we pay our bills on time, and work hard at what ever God has given us to do, our children will grow with that in mind.

When we do not despair at calamity, our children will know we have our faith in God alone. 

But at some point in their lives they will know that we are not perfect. That we all still sin and that they do not have to be perfect either because God has given us His righteousness, and we have none of our own.

The bible says that we should train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. We should teach them that salvation is a gift from God, but how we live and what we do depends on our rewards in this life and in heaven. God blesses those who do right, and chastens us when we do wrong. But he has forgiven us all trespasses.

We all fall short of Gods perfect Holiness, and we should not expect our children to be any different. We are not to put burdens on them that we would not do our selves. God wants us to love our children and in so doing will discipline them when needed. But not to kill their Spirit.

But we all have to remember God loves our children way more than we do, and our children are a blessing from the Lord.

Yes, because the Bible says we are to lay up an inheritance for our grandchildren as my grandmother, Mor Mor, tried to: "A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous." Implied in this statement, I think, is that is good to lay up an inheritance for our children, regardless if they are saved or not.

My grandmother left a more important SPIRITUAL HERITAGE. She was instrumental in leading me to Jesus (she took me to a Billy Graham Crusade where I was saved).

I believe we should leave them "the inheritance" of a good example in how we, as the parents, handle money: saving some, spending some, and giving some.
