My ladies' Bible study is studying the book, "Becoming a Woman of Excellence" by Cynthia Heald. In it she states pretty much exactly what Tim Mass said in his answer. I’d like to add that excellence does not mean perfection. It means striving to do your best (listening to the Holy Spirit) with the gifts that the Lord has bestowed on you.
