I am blessed to still have my spouse of almost 45 years and can only imagine what your friend is going through. Michael Hill gave one of the very best references I am aware of. I lost my best friend, the individual who led me to the Lord many years ago, my confidant. He was my Dad. I found a wonderful amount of comfort and peace in Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."
