The term "Rapture" is the most misunderstood word in regard to future prophesy. There will definitely be no disappearance event, that is wishful thinking and contradicts all the scriptures that speak of difficult times for the faithful. ALL of the numbers used are consistent with apocalyptic symbolic numeracy, so they are never meant to be taken at face value. John explains that near the close of the book.
